Lentune Probus members visited the Vibrant Forest Brewery today, where we were welcomed by Ryan Dack, Brewery Manager.

Ryan explained the history of the brewery, the materials used in manufacturing Vibrant Forest beers, and the brewing process. Members then sampled a range of Vibrant beers. Many purchased beers immediately, others decided to order online and use the brewery’s 24-hour home delivery service.

Originally located in a small garage in Lymington and operated as a hobby- producer of craft beers, Vibrant Forest Brewery grew rapidly and now occupies the four industrial units in Hythe we visited, producing an ever-evolving range of more than 30 craft, vegan-friendly beers, with a focus on flavour and quality.

The beers are sold by keg, can and cask to pubs, bars and shops nationwide and directly to customers, with a 24 hour delivery service.

Vibrant Forest is more than a brewery however: it is also a community hub, with outdoor and indoor tables, seating, a bar and servery, where local residents and visitors meet to enjoy the beers, street food and entertainment.

Members thanked Ryan and enjoyed lunch at the Turfcutters Arms, East Boldre, on returning to Lymington.

Thanks are due to organiser David Sayers, for an enjoyable club outing.
