What a great time we had!

The Probus Club skittles evening was held on 25 February at the Huntsman, in Brockenhurst. Once the helpful staff had managed to get the radiators warming up, we had a most enjoyable and warm evening. There were 3 rounds of 3 balls each at this wonderful skittles alley, with varying amounts of success. Some people showed real skill and others needed luck. There were enough fit and healthy people to help send back the balls and set up the 9 skittles again, and always a helping hand for anyone not quite so steady on their feet. 

The eventual winner was Rob Perkins, who received the trophy from Ladies’ Chairman Chris Capron. The desirable wooden spoon prize was awarded to Gill Morley!

This delightful competition was followed by a delicious supper and thanks must go particularly to Pauline Lightbody who organised the whole event, and Rob Perkins, yes him again, who masterminded the scoreboard. 

We look forward to next year’s competition!
