Twelve members of our Ladies and Men’s clubs met today at the White Hart, Lymington, for one of our regular and very popular drop-in meetings.

It was a very hot day, but the White Hart air conditioning coped admirably and the service and food was excellent.

Conversation flowed, with the heatwave, holidays and football dominating the discussion.

Held on the third Wednesday each month in a different hostelry, the drop-ins enable members to meet informally between normal club monthly meetings, for a drink, snack and a convivial chat.

We returned home to watch the England vs Argentina match, hopeful that this time football really is coming home!
