On what was a very cold day with a bitter northerly wind,15 Lentune Probus members were warmly greeted by the staff and a roaring log fire today, at the Hare & Hounds, Sway.

This was our second Drop-in visit to this charming, dog friendly, 200 year old coaching inn.

Drinks ordered, we studied the very comprehensive menu and decided what to have for lunch, while discussing Scotland’s win against Denmark in the previous evening’s football match and other, possibly more weighty matters.

Our popular monthly “Drop-ins” were instituted in 2024, to provide members of our men’s and ladies clubs, with opportunities to meet informally in a variety of local hostelries, between our respective club monthly meetings.

They are much enjoyed and appreciated.
