Lentune Probus Men met for lunch on 14 February, when speaker Bob Smith gave an interesting talk entitled The Hind Leg of a Donkey - Growing up in the 50s and 60s. Fascinated from an early age by road steam traction engines, buses and commercial vehicles, Bob's talk was about his early life. The talk was well-illustrated, relating vehicles of the period to young Bob's experiences  of the 1950's and 1960's.

The annual Lentune Probus Club Skittles Competition was held on 23 February 2022 at The Huntsman of Brockenhurst. Lentune Probus and the Lentune Probus Ladies clubs fought for the Clubs' highly prestigious Skittles Trophy. Some 35 Members fought for supremacy at a friendly but competitive event, played over three rounds of full-size skittles. A convivial supper was enjoyed by all.

Lentune Ladies met for lunch on 2nd February and enjoyed an entralling talk given by Patrick Kemp entitled Backstage with Lorenzo and his Amazing Lusitano Horses. Patrick recounted the story of Lorenzo, an amazing horse trainer based in the Camargue in the south of France, with whom Patrick has worked for many years at shows in Europe, the UK and the Middle East.

Club activity gathers apace for 2022, with social visits on the horizon including the New Forest Fruit farm and the Bursledon Brickworks. Members are also looking forward to the Spring Luncheon at MJ's Restaurant.
