On what was a very hot sunny day, 57 Lentune Probus members and friends attended our Annual Summer Luncheon, this time at Passford House Hotel, the onetime home of Lord Arthur Cecil, Queen Victoria’s Private Secretary.
Although drinks were served on the terrace, most members opted to remain indoors where it was pleasantly cool, to chat and renew acquaintances. An excellent lunch followed.
Men’s Chairman Mike Thompson thanked the hotel staff for their excellent high-temperature service and the Lentune Ladies Club for their outstanding organisation of the event.
