A record-breaking 17 members braved torrential rain and made sure we all had a very sociable get-together today. A few of us cast nervous glances at the swollen Lymington river a few metres away which had risen to within ½ metre of the road level.

We had enthusiastic discussions of possible future venues so varied offerings are guaranteed.

Pauline’s dog was given special access to the “Ferryman” on account of exceptionally good behaviour.

Thanks everyone. Basil
