Friday 9th August

The Lentune Probus Summer Luncheon is a popular event, held annually for 25 years. In recent years attendance has sometimes averaged almost 70 members and guests.

Our venue of choice since 2012 has been the elegant  Lord Bute 5* Restaurant and Hotel, in Lymington Road, Highcliffe, BH23 4JS, where the new management led by Operations Manager Ryan Smith and the New Head Chef, Bradley Green (who has won a number of awards, recently beating the Chefs of the Chewton Glen Hotel) and front of house staff, have all promised to serve an excellent three course lunch, with a choice of 4 dishes per course (plus rolls to start, with coffee and mint to conclude). Pre Orders are required to ensure an excellent service.

The cost this year, inclusive of gratuities, will be £40  per person (£40.50 by card). Pay on the day for your drinks.

Members and their guests should assemble from 12.15 for an aperitif and the lunch will commence at 1.00pm.

There is ample parking on the opposite side of Lymington Road in the grounds of St Mark's Church, with easy access to the Lord Bute.

Numbers are limited and, if necessary, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Early booking is therefore recommended, .

Please book places and meal choice on the website. Wives/partners and friends should be booked as your "guests". Your name tags will also include your personal food choices.

Payment by BACS (preferred) or by debit/credit card when you check-in for the July monthly meeting. Please don't pay by cheque unless you have to - payable to Lentune Probus Club and send it to Mac Hall, 3, West Hayes, Lymington SO41 3RL.
