Our Summer Lunch this year is to be held in Passford House, formerly the home of Lord Arthur Cecil, Queen Victoria's private secretary. It is now a country house hotel set in nine acres of picturesque gardens and parkland.
The Hotel is located in Mount Pleasant Lane, Sway, SO41 8LS. Parking is plentiful and there is a helipad if required.
Lunch will be served in the Lord Cecil Room at 1.00pm, followed by coffee. Members should book and choose their menu online, as usual.
The cost of the lunch will be £33pp including coffee (drinks extra, payable on the day) with payment due to the men's account by Friday 24th July please.
ON THE DAY
Dependant on the weather you may wish to arrive a little early and explore the gardens, before enjoying a pre-lunch drink.
The bar is situated at the front of Passford House and hotel staff will direct you to the gardens or lounges, as appropriate.
A glass of wine or orange juice is included in the cost of lunch and will be served in the garden if the weather permits. Alternative drinks will be available from the bar at cost.
Members wishing to have wine with their lunch should order and pay at the bar and it will be delivered to your table.
Gratuities will be at members discretion.
