Monthly Meeting
Our speaker today is Paul Stickler.
Some of you may remember Paul's previous visit when he told us about the porthole murder and asked us to make up our minds about the culprit. He is a retired detective who has explored the detail behind some of the most fascinating cases in criminal history.
The case he is telling us about today took place just after the First World war and involves a woman and her dog beaten to death inside a small corner shop in Hitchin. There were two investigations launched, each with a different conclusion.
