Sophie Campbell-Wynter  -  An African Dream

Have you ever had a dream that led down an unplanned path?  Come and listen to Sophie to learn how one man’s dream became an unexpected major body of work in a small corner of Uganda.

Sophie and her husband Mark thought their plan to be Missionaries in Uganda was where their lives were heading but instead the charity An African Dream developed out of personnel tragedy and developed into over twenty years of work in Uganda bringing education, transformation and empowerment to a largely forgotten region in the Western part of that country.

Sophie Campbell-Wynter trained as a Nurse then as a Midwife.  She practised only briefly in both these disciplines.  She has also worked as a Squash coach, a Carer and for her Church as well as a multitude of other duties in conjunction with bringing up four children.
