Our Speaker today is Bill Coombes and his talk is entitled "The International Space Station"

What is the ISS and What does it do?  This talk will answer the questons most of us have.  We will learn where the ISS is, when you can actually see it at night, its size, how fast it is travelling and why it is there.  

A short video by an ex ISS Commander is shown, demonstrating how you wash, clean your teeth and comb your hair in zero gravity and most importantly, how you use a toilet in space.

The talk finishes with some amazing photos taken from the ISS - including some taken by Bill himself.
