David joined Lentune Probus in 2013 and has enjoyed a lifelong interest in sailing.

He began sailing dinghies in the 60’s, bought his first cruising yacht in 1983 and recently moved to a motor cruiser.

David has cruised extensively along the South Coast and in France, Belgium and Holland. He also completed circumnavigations of the UK under sail in 2003/2004 and again in 2011, this time via the Caledonian Canal.

David’s will describe his experiences cruising along the U.K. coast, the interesting places he visited, some of the colourful characters encountered, and the sheer beauty of the British coastline viewed from the sea.
